  • NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

    (Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)

    HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

    Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Waterloo, County of Seneca, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Clerk at 66 Virginia Street, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday in May.

    The Assessor’s office will be open with the tentative assessment roll on May 3rd, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.; May 4th call to set up appt.; May 5th between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.; and May 7th call to set up appt. at 66 Virginia St., Waterloo, NY 13165.

    The Board of Assessment Review will meet on May 24th between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at 66 Virginia Street in said Town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the application of any person believing himself or herself to be aggrieved.

  • TOWN OF WATERLOO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Waterloo on the 25th day of April, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., at the Waterloo Town Hall, 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, New York 13165, to consider a Town Wide Sewer Use Law pursuant to Section 12(C) of the New York State Town Law.

    Any resident of the Town of Waterloo shall be entitled to be heard upon this matter at such public hearing. Copies of the Draft Town Sewer Use Law related thereto are available for review at the Town of Waterloo Town Hall, 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, New York.

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    The Town of Waterloo was awarded fiscal year 2019 funds under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. CDBG funds in the amount of $310,000 was provided to the Town for a Town-Wide Housing Rehabilitation Program.

    Pursuant to 24 CFR 570.486, The Town of Waterloo is required to hold a public hearing during the grant implementation period to provide details with respect to each Program and program progress, to solicit comments with respect to funded activities and program administration, and to answer questions with respect to the CDBG Programs or grant activities. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Waterloo, Don S. Trout, Supervisor, 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, NY 13165.

    The hearing is scheduled for Monday, February 28, 2022 to be held at 7 P.M. The hearings will be held in person at the Town Hall located at 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, NY 13165, the venue is handicapped accessible. Masking per CDC guidelines. This information is also on the Town website waterlootown.org. Any persons or groups needing special accommodations contact the Town at least a week prior to the meeting at 315-539-3080.     The CDBG program is funded under the Title 1 of the Housing and Community Act of 1974, as amended. The federal government, pursuant to Title 1, provided fiscal year 2019 funds to New York State for award and administration.
