The Town of Waterloo was awarded fiscal year 2019 funds under the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. CDBG funds in the amount of $310,000 was provided to the Town for a Town-Wide Housing Rehabilitation Program.
Pursuant to 24 CFR 570.486, The Town of Waterloo is required to hold a public hearing during the grant implementation period to provide details with respect to each Program and program progress, to solicit comments with respect to funded activities and program administration, and to answer questions with respect to the CDBG Programs or grant activities. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Waterloo, Don S. Trout, Supervisor, 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, NY 13165.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday, February 28, 2022 to be held at 7 P.M. The hearings will be held in person at the Town Hall located at 66 Virginia Street, Waterloo, NY 13165, the venue is handicapped accessible. Masking per CDC guidelines. The CDBG program is funded under the Title 1 of the Housing and Community Act of 1974, as amended. The federal government, pursuant to Title 1, provided fiscal year 2019 funds to New York State for award and administration.
