NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The Town Board of the Town of Waterloo, County of Seneca, New York, at a meeting thereof held on the 20th day of May, 2025, duly adopted a Resolution restoring the office of Town Justice that was previously reduced so that the Town of Waterloo will have two Town Justices; and such Resolution is SUBJECT TO A PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM PURSUANT TO TOWN LAW §60-a AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 7 OF THE TOWN LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK. Pursuant to Town Law §60-a, if this resolution takes effect, the election of the town justice to the restored office shall take place at the biennial town election next succeeding the effective date of this resolution, for a four-year term of office commencing January first following the election.
